Oregano Systems: Chip design IP blocks, prototyping boards, and a protocol stack that implement IEEE1588. The Hyperstone hyNet 32XS processor uses one of Oregano's cores.

Powerlink: A consortium of industrial automation vendors. IEEE 1588 is part of the consortium's real-time strategy. See the supported standards in the technology section

PTPd: Source code for a software implementation of IEEE 1588.
